Army finds 17 Haitians crammed into vehicle and intercepts known migrant smuggler in Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic Army intercepted a vehicle carrying 17 Haitian migrants in the early hours of Wednesday following a pursuit on the El Rubio–Monción highway. Authorities detained the driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, who was identified as a known migrant smuggler.
