Jaime Santos from León wins his first national title in the lightning category

Jaime Santos Latasa won the Spanish Blitz Chess Championship held in Mengíbar, Jaén, on August 15. Entering the tournament as the top-seeded player, Santos secured the national title by accumulating 9 points over eleven rounds, finishing with a record of seven victories.
