El narcotráfico se adentró en el Poder Judicial y Policía, dice presidenta de Costa Rica

Costa Rican President Laura Fernández stated on Wednesday that drug trafficking has deeply infiltrated both the judiciary and the police force within the country, describing the corruption as reaching "to the core."

To combat this institutional penetration, the government plans to implement a system of rotation for police officers to prevent them from becoming deeply rooted in specific areas.
