The Navy's new ship, on which the King will sail, is already training in Palma to participate in the Copa del Rey Mapfre sailing regatta.

The new Spanish Navy vessel that will host King Felipe VI has begun training in Palma ahead of its participation in the Mapfre King's Cup sailing regatta.

This year's competition brings together 101 sailboats representing 19 countries, establishing a new participation record in the women's category. Despite the vessel's active preparation in local waters, the King was absent from the practice sessions held prior to the official start of the regatta.
