The Dimayor has officially rescheduled several Liga BetPlay matches that were previously postponed due to a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck the Pacific and Eje Cafetero regions of Colombia on August 10, 2026. While the league has begun the process of resuming play, multiple fixtures remain without confirmed dates as the organization works to normalize the schedule following the seismic event centered in San José del Palmar, Chocó.

Separately, in Argentina, the Justicialist Party (PJ) is hosting an event at San José 1111 to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the attempted assassination of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. The event marks the date in 2022 when Fernando Sabag Montiel attempted to shoot the former president outside her residence in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
