The mega-prison approach to fighting crime

In January, Chilean politician José Antonio Kast visited the Terrorism Confinement Center (Cecot) in El Salvador to examine the facility's operations. Arriving by helicopter, Kast toured the megaprison's pavilions to evaluate its security model.
