El PP acusa a Correos de "maquillar" sus resultados con ventas de inmuebles por valor de 17 millones

The Partido Popular (PP) has formally initiated parliamentary action in the Spanish Congress to challenge the financial reporting of the state-owned postal service, Correos. The opposition party alleges that the company artificially inflated its 2025 financial results by executing real estate sales totaling more than 17 million euros. The PP contends that these asset liquidations were used to mask the company's true economic performance.

This development occurs alongside broader legislative activity in the Congress, where lawmakers are currently addressing a separate decree involving 309 million euros in emergency social and economic aid for Ceuta. This funding package, intended to support the region following a surge in immigration, is scheduled for a plenary vote to determine its validation or repeal.
