AM-PP believes that Robles "is not up to the task" in the Ceuta crisis and accuses Sánchez of "caging her" for defending Spain

On Friday, the Partido Popular (PP) criticized Defense Minister Margarita Robles, stating she is not up to the task regarding the migration crisis in Ceuta and accusing Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of "caging" her for defending Spain. The remarks were delivered by Jaime de los Santos, the PP's deputy secretary of Education and Equality.

Simultaneously, the Satse nursing union publicly criticized the Ministry of Health over the situation in Ceuta. The union claimed that the ministry has been daily distributing data and images concerning the Ceuta University Hospital that fail to accurately reflect the reality and difficulties experienced by healthcare professionals on the ground.
