The PP demands a postponement of the closure of the Catalan nuclear power plants of Ascó and Vandellòs

Eva García, a deputy for the Partido Popular (PP) in the Catalan Parliament, formally requested on August 14 that the Spanish government revise the scheduled closure dates for the Ascó and Vandellòs nuclear power plants. The proposal advocates for an extension of their operational lifespan, citing the precedent set by the Almaraz nuclear plant in Cáceres, which has been granted a timeline adjustment.
