López will propose to the RTVE Board of Directors to maintain the suspension of Spain's participation in Eurovision

Jose Pablo Lopez, the president of RTVE, announced on Tuesday, September 22, that he will propose to the corporation's Board of Directors that Spain remain out of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027.

The proposed withdrawal is a direct response to Israel's participation in the event. If approved, this move would result in Spain potentially missing the contest for two consecutive years.
