The 'Memories and Personal Heritage' project, National Prize for Cultural Conservation for its work after the DANA storm

The Ministry of Culture has awarded the 2026 National Prize for Restoration and Conservation of Cultural Goods to the project 'Memorias y Patrimonios Personales' (Personal Memories and Heritages).

The initiative was developed by the Association of Conservators and Restorers of Spain (ACRE). The award recognizes the project's contributions and labor following the DANA natural disaster.

The announcement was made in Madrid on October 16, highlighting the vital role of cultural conservation efforts in response to emergency situations.
