The United Kingdom will renew its military fleet in the Falkland Islands amid growing tension with Argentina

The United Kingdom government has confirmed plans to upgrade its military presence in the Malvinas (Falkland Islands) by replacing four currently deployed Typhoon Tranche 1 fighter jets with more advanced Tranche 2 aircraft. This equipment rotation is scheduled to take place by the end of November 2027.
