El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras will accumulate $29.064 billion in family remittances in 2026.

During the first seven months of 2026, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras—collectively known as the Northern Triangle of Central America—accumulated a total of 29.064 million dollars in family remittances. According to data reported on September 18, this figure represents a 7.1 percent increase compared to the amounts registered during the same period in previous tracking.

Concurrently, in South America, the Bolivian Senate sanctioned a 1.900 million dollar agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on September 18, 2026. The funding is intended to support the economic reforms introduced by the administration of President Rodrigo Paz, and the measure now moves to the Executive branch for final promulgation.
