The National Assembly of Venezuela approved giving civil society a majority on the committee that will begin the judicial reform.

The Venezuelan National Assembly has approved a legislative measure to grant civil society a majority representation within the preliminary committee responsible for the judicial renewal process. This committee is tasked with selecting the members of the body responsible for nominating magistrates to the Supreme Tribunal of Justice.
