Faten Ben Amar El Azizi, a young Moroccan female football player, died while attempting to swim to the coast of Ceuta. The incident, which occurred near Castillejos, Morocco, has left the Moroccan women's football community in mourning.

Her club, the Maghreb Atlético Tetuá, stated that the athlete was not seeking fame but was instead attempting to reach the Spanish territory in search of new opportunities for her future.
