Social Economy Enterprises request funding until the RAP for textile waste is "fully" deployed

The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) has formally requested financial support to bridge the gap until the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system for textile waste is fully operational. The organization emphasizes that transitional measures are necessary to ensure the viability of social economy enterprises during the implementation phase of these new waste management regulations.

Separately, the Spanish Minister of Economy, Trade, and Business, Carlos Cuerpo, is scheduled to appear before Congress this Wednesday. The session is intended to address the government's commercial strategy in response to potential tariff threats posed by United States President Donald Trump.
