Election Commission begins study on out-of-country, inter-district voting

The Election Commission of Nepal has initiated a study to explore the implementation of out-of-country and inter-district voting systems. This initiative aims to find practical ways to allow Nepali citizens to cast their ballots even when they are away from their permanent residential districts or residing abroad.

To facilitate this process, Home Minister Gurung has pledged full governmental support. This backing encompasses necessary legal reforms as well as the technological infrastructure required to make remote and inter-district voting feasible for the electorate.
