Electric Avenue releases extra festival passes exclusively for locals

Christchurch’s Electric Avenue festival has announced an expansion of its daily capacity to 50,000 fans for the 2027 event. The increase follows the acquisition of additional land, which will accommodate an extra 4,000 local festival-goers each day.

As part of this expansion, the festival has released additional passes exclusively targeted at local residents.
