Electronic Certificate of Fitness service restored at all ITA Service Hubs

World 1 source 1 country 34m ago

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Island Traffic Authority (ITA) is advising the public that all its Service Hubs are now able to process Electronic Certificates of Fitness (eFitness), following disruptions caused by damage to fibre infrastructure. Customers can now have their motor vehicles assessed and receive the corresponding eFitness certificate number via email. The Court Administration Division (CAD) and the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) have also been notified of the restoration of service.

Motorists are reminded that there is no grace period for Certificates of Fitness, and these can be renewed up to 90 days in advance. The Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of the public while we worked assiduously with our partners to fully restore the service. For further information, please email info@ita.gov.jm or contact the ITA through its official social media pages.
