“She is a hero”: The teenager who was shot four times and helped identify her family’s killer

A 13-year-old girl in Lake Township, Michigan, survived a shooting in which she sustained four gunshot wounds. Despite her injuries, the teenager managed to contact 911 to report the incident. Upon arrival at the residence, law enforcement officers discovered the bodies of three family members: a 45-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, along with a third individual.

The teenager provided critical information to authorities that assisted in the identification of the suspect responsible for the attack. The case is currently under investigation as officials process the crime scene and determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the victims.
