The alleged financial mastermind of the ‘Plus Ultra case’ has been released on bail: the Dutch businessman must appear in court every two days and cannot leave Spain.

Simon Leendert Verhoeven, a Dutch businessman identified as the alleged financial mastermind behind the 'Plus Ultra' case, has been released from custody by the Spanish National Court. Judge José Luis Calama presided over the hearing, which resulted in the defendant's release under specific judicial precautionary measures.

As part of his release conditions, Verhoeven is prohibited from leaving Spain and is required to report to the court every two days. These measures were imposed following his initial appearance before the Audiencia Nacional regarding his alleged involvement in the financial investigation.
