En medio de la vigilancia policiaca, sólo feministas se instalaron en la Alameda

Authorities from the Mexico City Secretariat of Citizen Security established a police presence in the Alameda Central and the perimeter of the Palace of Fine Arts. The operation was designed to prevent street vendors from occupying public spaces in the area.

Amidst this security deployment, only feminist groups were able to install themselves in the Alameda. The presence of law enforcement created a restricted environment that effectively cleared the zone of traditional street commerce while allowing for the specific occupation by feminist demonstrators.
