At least 14 individuals have been arrested by the Ertzaintza in Bilbao following violent protests by a group of approximately 300 radicals demonstrating against Vito Quiles. During the disturbances, rioters set fire to a police motorcycle, burned other vehicles and containers, and attempted to attack a police station with stones.

The widespread unrest caused significant disruption to public infrastructure in the city, forcing the closure of several Bilbao Metro stations as authorities responded to the security threat.
