A pickup truck was found in a stream in Ringuelet: authorities are investigating whether it had been stolen hours earlier in La Plata.

On Saturday morning, residents discovered a Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck submerged inside the Arroyo del Gato in Ringuelet, located at the intersection of street 1 and 514 in La Plata.

The vehicle featured tinted windows and a closed canopy. The discovery prompted authorities to launch an operation at the scene.

Investigators are currently working to determine whether the pickup truck had been stolen hours prior to the discovery in La Plata.
