Englishman Whaley wins US Amateur title

English golfer Jack Whaley has won the US Amateur Championship after defeating American Jay Leng Jr 4&3 in the final at Merion.

With this victory, Whaley becomes only the second Englishman since 1911 to claim the prestigious US Amateur title.
