++ Eni, cap of 2.19 euros on the price of diesel, 1.99 for petrol ++

Italian energy company Eni has announced price ceilings for automotive fuels, setting a maximum of 2.19 euros per liter for diesel and 1.99 euros per liter for gasoline.

The measure is scheduled to take effect on September 28 for an initial duration of 30 days. The implementation includes the possibility of an extension through the end of the year.
