The Mexican rescue team from Tlatelolco will not travel to Colombia as their deployment is not required.

Following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Colombia on Monday, the Colombian government has declined the deployment of the Mexican Topos Tlatelolco rescue brigade. The brigade confirmed on Wednesday that they will not travel to the country, as their assistance was not requested by Colombian authorities.

Instead, the Colombian government has officially accepted international search and rescue support from teams representing the United States, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Israel. These teams are expected to join ongoing salvage operations in the affected regions.
