Eriksen to return to Denmark after parting ways with Wolfsburg

Midfielder Christian Eriksen is returning to Denmark after parting ways with German club Wolfsburg by mutual consent. The departure comes just over three months after Eriksen suffered an on-pitch medical collapse during a friendly match between Denmark and Ukraine, an incident that forced the game to be abandoned and led to a period of recovery for the player.

Prior to his stint at Wolfsburg, Eriksen's professional career included spells playing for prominent European clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan, and Manchester United.
