Eroding purchasing power deepens pressures on ordinary South Africans

South African households are being crippled by a cost of living crisis that does not show up in headline economic indicators. To restore their purchasing power and human dignity, there needs to be an increased focus on logistics, municipal tariffs and structural reforms.
