Rents in Buenos Aires rose less than inflation this year: how much does a two-room apartment cost, depending on the neighborhood

During the year 2026, rental prices in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) increased at a slower pace than general inflation. Specifically, rents in the district rose by 1.5% in August, remaining below the estimated monthly inflation rate.

For the year to date, accumulated rental increases reached 19.2%. This figure is similarly lower than the estimated overall price increases for the same period, which are projected at 21%.
