Current status of the Duquesa road reconstruction

Four years after the Dominican government announced a 500-million-peso investment to rebuild the access roads to the Duquesa landfill, only three of the five kilometers of the Los Casabes stretch have been completed.

The infrastructure project aims to improve transit conditions surrounding the major waste management site, though progress has stalled short of its initial target since the funding and initiative were first declared.
