The United States is coordinating with Israel the investigation into the attack in the cockpit of a Flydubai flight diverted to Saudi Arabia.

A Flydubai flight, identified as FZ1073, was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia following a physical altercation between the pilot and the co-pilot inside the cockpit. In response to the incident, the Emirati low-cost carrier has announced a temporary suspension of all flights operating to and from Israel.

United States officials, led by Attorney General Todd Blanche, are coordinating closely with Israeli authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the mid-flight disturbance.
