The United States and Honduras have reinforced their bilateral cooperation to combat organized crime and strengthen regional security. The initiative was highlighted following a high-level meeting between U.S. and Honduran officials.

During the discussions, the U.S. Embassy in Honduras reported that Chargé d'Affaires Colleen A. Hoey met with representatives of the Honduran government. The talks were convened to review and give continuity to shared bilateral priorities focused on enhancing security measures and addressing criminal organizations.
