Ethiopia: U.S. Lawmakers, Europe Peace Foundation Urge Dialogue As Fighting Escalates in Ethiopia

The Europe Peace Foundation and three U.S. lawmakers have independently issued calls for an immediate halt to hostilities in Ethiopia. The appeals come as violent conflict escalates within the Tigray region, as well as the neighboring Amhara and Afar regions.

Both international bodies are pressing the warring parties to abandon military action and return immediately to formal negotiations to resolve the ongoing crisis.
