European chamber chief in Hong Kong heads to Brussels to ‘reset city’s image’

The head of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (EuroCham) is traveling to Brussels to lead the organization’s first-ever “door-knock” mission. The primary objective of the visit is to address and reset international perceptions regarding the status and business environment of Hong Kong as a global financial hub.

During the mission, the chamber intends to highlight the city’s unique position, emphasizing that Hong Kong remains fundamentally and significantly distinct from mainland China. The initiative serves as a strategic effort to reassure European stakeholders of the city's ongoing viability and autonomy in the international market.
