Salcedo Fernández's evaluation in the Supreme Court will not take place

Nancy I. Salcedo Fernández, the second substitute judge of the Supreme Court of Justice in the Dominican Republic, formally notified President Luis Abinader of her decision to withdraw from the upcoming evaluation process. The communication was delivered this Monday to the President, who also serves as the head of the National Council of the Magistracy (CNM).

This decision marks a significant development regarding the composition and assessment procedures of the Supreme Court. By declining to submit to the evaluation process, the judge has opted out of the current review cycle conducted by the CNM.
