The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority has defended an invigilator's decision to deny a candidate access to a school lift before a Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) assessment. The candidate, who was experiencing anxiety and feeling unwell, was refused the facility because he had not submitted a prior request for special accommodation.
