Exhibit review: How one trip to Banaras inspired nearly 20 different artistic visions

An art exhibition is currently showcasing the diverse creative outputs of artists from Lalitkala Campus who embarked on a shared study trip to Banaras. The collection features nearly 20 distinct visual narratives inspired by the journey.

The participating artists translated their experiences of the trip into varied artistic mediums and subjects, capturing scenes ranging from cremation ghats and the Ganga Aarti to local architecture and portraiture, resulting in a multifaceted exploration of a single destination.
