Los restos de 13 republicanos fusilados en 1939 tras la Guerra Civil salen a la luz en Madridejos (Toledo)

The remains of at least 13 individuals identified as Republicans were exhumed from the Santo Ángel de la Guarda cemetery in Madridejos, Toledo. The operation, conducted by the Manuel Azaña Association at the request of the victims' families, marks the beginning of a formal identification process for those executed on July 31, 1939.

The executions took place shortly after the conclusion of the Spanish Civil War. The exhumation represents a significant step in the efforts to recover and identify victims from this period of post-war repression.
