Expansion of electricity generation capacity continues

Iran has reported a significant expansion of its national electricity generation capacity, according to official government statements. The country has increased its renewable energy production from 1,250 megawatts to approximately 7,000 megawatts, marking a substantial shift in the energy sector's output.

In addition to renewable growth, the nation has integrated approximately 3,000 megawatts of new capacity through the development of thermal power plants. These combined efforts are intended to bolster the country's overall power infrastructure and address rising energy demands.
