Expertos independientes alertan por órdenes en Honduras: “Estos desalojos son fáciles de ejecutar, pero casi imposibles de revertir”

Independent human rights experts have urged Honduras to immediately halt the execution of more than 1,000 eviction orders. These impending actions threaten thousands of families belonging to peasant, indigenous, and afro-descendant communities.

According to the experts, the legal and physical displacement orders carry severe humanitarian consequences. They issued a specific warning regarding the irreversible nature of the actions, stating that the evictions are easy to execute but nearly impossible to reverse.
