Dominican man extradited to New York on murder charges

Mario Jáquez, also identified as Mario Elvin Jáquez, was extradited from the Dominican Republic to the United States on Saturday. The transfer was facilitated by the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) following a request from a New York court.

Jáquez faces charges of second-degree murder in the state of New York. The extradition follows legal procedures to address the criminal accusations pending against him in the U.S. jurisdiction.
