Argentine tennis player Facundo Díaz Acosta advanced to the final of the San Marino Challenger tournament after defeating Latvian opponent Vilius Gaubas in straight sets, 6-3 and 6-2, on a clay court.

With this semifinal victory, Díaz Acosta reached his sixth Challenger final of the season and secured his return to the world's Top 100 rankings.
