DNA testing has confirmed that a newborn baby was not switched at a hospital in Concepción, Tucumán, following a complaint made by first-time parents last week.

During the pregnancy and immediately following the birth, the couple was informed they were having a baby girl, but they were subsequently handed a male infant wearing small earrings, prompting suspicions of a mix-up.
