NewzCrews are battling the Hilary Fire near Palmdale in Los Angeles County, triggering evacuation warnings for some residents. Los Angeles County firefighters have stopped the forward progress of a fast-moving brush fire that prompted evacuation warnings and threatened structures south of Palmdale Tuesday afternoon. The Hilary Fire burned at least 74 acres in the area of E Barrel Springs Road near 40th Street.
LACOFD first responded to the fire at 1:54 p.m.
