Father convicted in Montreal girl’s murder wanted to testify away from jury

On August 10, a Montreal father was found guilty of second-degree murder and the concealment of a human corpse in the death of Melina Frattolin.

During the legal proceedings leading to the conviction, the father had sought to testify away from the presence of the jury.
