Fatima Bosch relinquishes her Miss Universe Mexico crown: “I gave it my all with my heart, have no doubt, even though it has been a difficult year”

On the night of August 29, the national final of Miss Universo México took place in Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas), Baja California Sur, where Mexico selected its new representative for the Miss Universe pageant out of 32 contestants representing each federal entity.

During the event, outgoing titleholder Fátima Bosch relinquished the crown, stating, "I gave it my all with the heart, make no doubt about it, although it has been a difficult year."

The new crown was received by María Vargas, the representative for Jalisco, who took over the title during the ceremony and outlined her expectations for her new stage as Miss Universo México.
