FCC votes to ax rule limiting local TV station ownership

The Federal Communications Commission voted 2-1 Thursday to eliminate a rule capping how many television households one company can own, clearing the way for station consolidation, but the commission’s lone Democrat says the change should have gone through Congress instead.
