FDA declares cyclospora outbreak over after 12K+ cases reported, nearly 500 hospitalized

Nearly two months after the Food and Drug Administration launched an investigation into a cyclospora outbreak linked to more than 12,000 infections, 495 hospitalizations and two deaths, the administration has declared the outbreak officially over.
