Feijóo asks Robles to allow the director of the CNI to appear before the Secrets Committee to find out "the truth" about Ceuta

On Saturday, leader of the Partido Popular Alberto Núñez Feijóo called for the director of the CNI, Esperanza Casteleiro, to appear before the Commission on Official Secrets regarding recent events in Ceuta. Feijóo requested that Minister of Defense Margarita Robles authorize this appearance, arguing that the public is entitled to know the truth about the situation in the autonomous city.

During his remarks, Feijóo also criticized Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s management of the border crisis. He characterized the government's approach as being hostile toward the residents of Ceuta while remaining submissive to those he described as invaders, further accusing the administration of being disloyal to the local government of the autonomous city.
